The Management Development Center was established in February 1995. The purpose of its establishment was to consolidate the research resources of the School of Management in order to heighten the School of Management’s scholastic status. The Management Development Center has actively supported various management academic activities in addition to devoting itself to the development and promotion of management education through the ideal of combining management theory and practice :
1. MBA and EMBA credit class
Since 1995, the center has continuously offered the Master credit classes in Management under the integration of teaching resources from various departments. Starting in 1999, the center also launched the Executive MBA credit classes. These credit classes provide industry professionals with practical and diverse short-term management courses, serving as an excellent avenue for in-service education and professional development.
2. EMBA program
To adapt to the trend of in-service education in the new century and align with the Ministry of Education's policy on continuing education, the Management Development Center has launched the Executive MBA program since 1999. With the best faculty, curriculum, and facilities, we have attracted many elites from various fields to apply and enroll. This advancement marks another successful step towards our long-term goal of integrating practical experience with academic teaching.
Mission
Integrating the research resources of the College of Management and combining management theory with practice, we are committed to cultivating outstanding high-level management leaders.
